NCAB was pleased to accept Norautron´s invitation to speak in front of invited customers in conjunction with the Electronical exhibition in Gothenburg.

Focus was surface finishes and solderability. Solderability is a tricky topic that always is a subject of discussion, even more now after the introduction of leadfree techniques and the consequenses it bring. 

As always it is a combination of the processes at the EMS and quality of the surface finish that together result in good or bad solderability. A professional EMS is well aware of the difficulties that can arise in production, which Norautron is a good example of. With curiosity they try to understand the possibilities and difficulties there is in PCB production. This is to secure the production shall give a reliable product, which has resulted in zero claims on the solderability the past years. 

It is when we get the opportunity to work close to our customrs we feel that the reliability increases at the same time as economical effects is achieved.
